Gold Star Gamers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children who have lost a military parent by offering hope and healing through competitive gaming. The "Sun Bowl Showdown", in collaboration with the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. This event features an e-sports tournament at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, where participants compete in Rocket League and attend the Sun Bowl game as VIP
