The Parks & Recreation Aquatics Division sponsors a competitive summer swim league.

The goal of the summer league program is to stimulate an interest in competitive swimming and provide a means through which youth may learn leadership, the principles of good sportsmanship, values of physical fitness, advanced aquatic skills, encourage and develop teamwork, establish a love for the sport of swimming, and community spirit.

We hope that each swimmer will leave the team with basic skills in all four competitive strokes, a love of swimming, new friendships, and great memories.

Registration Details

Registration must be completed in person and a parent/guardian must be present to register their child (no exceptions). Registration will be available on April 11^th, 2026 at participating aquatic facilities listed below.

• Hawkins Aquatic Center, 1500 Hawkins Blvd.
• Marty Robbins Aquatic Center, 11600 Vista Del Sol Dr.
• Memorial Aquatic Center, 3251 Copper Ave.
• Veterans Aquatic Center, 5301 Salem Dr.
• Westside Natatorium, 650 Wallenberg Dr.
• William W. Cowan Aquatic Center, 8100 Independence Dr.
• For Veterans Swim Team registration will be at:
  Pat O’Rourke Aquatic Center, 901 N. Virginia St.

For registration individuals must bring a copy of the following:

• Driver’s license with current address
• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Parent/Participant Acknowledgement Form
• Parent or Guardian must be present to register their child (no exceptions). Letter of authority will not be accepted.
• Receipt from current unexpired Parent Class

*The Sports Parent Classes taken at the Sports Center, Recreation Centers, Aquatics Centers and School Districts meets the requirement of the Parent Class for the Summer Swim League.

Program will start on May 4th, 2026 at approved participating aquatic centers.

Youth Scholarships will be available for FY26 Summer League Swim Season.
