How to request a Virtual Arraignment »

Due to safety concerns relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, the court will be conducting hearings virtually. Residents must email the court at least two (2) business days before their hearing in order to receive the hearing link. Please include your Full Name, Date of Birth, Citation number and Telephone Number in the email.

If you are scheduled for court at 810 E. Overland please refer to your notice for the email address. If you are scheduled for court at 9600 Dyer please email

Residents who do not have the technology or have an impairment preventing them from attending a virtual hearing, must contact the court at least two (2) business days prior to their hearing to schedule an in-person virtual hearing with the court.

In-person Services

The court recommends that only the Defendant appears to resolve their violation(s). Juveniles and people with disabilities may be accompanied by a legal guardian or caregiver.

Face coverings are required for entry into Court facilities. Temperature checks will be conducted at both 810 E. Overland and 9600 Dyer before entry into the El Paso Municipal Courthouses.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms or are part of the vulnerable population such as those over the age of 65, those with underlying health conditions, and those with compromised immune systems, please call (915) 212-0215 to speak with a court representative for alternative options regarding your citation.

Payments can be made on-line, by mail, by phone at (915) 212-0232 or drop box at all Court locations.

Safety & Health Plan

The El Paso Municipal Court is a court of record which handles Class C misdemeanors and civil parking citations issued within the city limits. The El Paso Municipal Court of Appeals hears appeals filed from the El Paso Municipal Courts.
