The Strategic and Legislative Affairs (SLA) department advances our City Council priorities by championing policies that benefit our community, safeguarding City resources, and easing the financial burden on local taxpayers.
Our team actively engages with legislation at the state, federal, and international levels, secures external funding through grants, supports our military community with essential services for veterans and active-duty members, and also implements climate and sustainability projects to address our commitment to a thriving, resilient community.
