Online Crime Reporting Form

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY, IF SOMEONE HAS BEEN INJURED, OR IF A CRIME IS STILL IN PROGRESS, DIAL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT USE THIS FORM.

Welcome to the El Paso Police Department's On-line Reporting System

You can submit your report here, only if: you are the victim of a crime that does not involve an emergency as defined above; the incident occurred within the El Paso City Limits; and there is no evidence to be collected by the Police.

A Police Officer will NOT be dispatched to your location for an on-line report.

Your phone number and a valid e-mail address are required in order to file a report on-line.

To report an Auto Theft or Burglary of Vehicle call (915) 832-4400 or 9-1-1 if the crime is occurring at this time.

If the crime being reported is not listed online, some types of incidents may be reported to EPPD by Telephone.

You may contact the El Paso Police Department Telephone Reporting Unit at (915) 832-4436 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (lunch closure 12:00PM – 1:00PM), Monday through Friday, to file a report by telephone.

Please complete the form as accurately and completely as possible. This will help us to review your report for assignment and investigation. Whenever you only have partial information (such as part of a license plate number, or a person's description), please provide us whatever details you have available.

If you need to report more than one crime, please submit a separate Report Form for each one.

WARNING!
IT IS A CRIME TO MAKE A FALSE POLICE REPORT UNDER THE TEXAS PENAL CODE, SECTION 37.08.
A FALSE REPORT IS PUNISHABLE AS A CLASS B MISDEMEANOR.

IMPORTANT!
Persons under the age of 17 must have a parent or legal guardian file reports.
