    El Paso, Texas – While decorative lights and holiday decorations add to the splendor of the season, the El Paso Fire Department would like to remind the public that they can increase the risks of fire and electrical injuries if not used safely. On average, 260 home fires begin with Christmas trees each year, resulting in 12 deaths, 24 injuries and $16.4 million in property damage. The El Paso Fire Department recommends these guidelines to help prevent fire hazards during the holiday season.

    Condition 3 - 10600 Cuatro Vistas

    Fire Department
    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 3:49 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 7, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to a condition 3 fire at the 10600 block of Cuatro Vistas Dr. when neighbors saw an apartment unit on fire and called 9-1-1. Upon arriving on the scene at 3:53 p.m., crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the top floor of an apartment unit. Firefighters began to simultaneously fight the fire and search for residents inside.
