The Real Estate Division manages real estate assets to ensure efficiency and appropriate use consistent with the municipal operations of the City of El Paso’s comprehensive plan, economic development goals, and redevelopment strategies. The goal of the Office of Real Estate is to maximize the overall financial returns on all dispositions of surplus real estate, utilized vacant space or underutilized property for growth opportunities, and for economic development initiatives in the region.  The real estate team will continually evaluate assets based on overall strategic direction and against established criteria to determine the most efficient use and take the appropriate actions in a timely manner.

The Real Estate Division has relocated to the Capital Improvement Department. For inquiries, please contact Jorge Acosta, Senior Land and Contract Administrator, at 915-212-1827 or
