The City of El Paso Department of Public Health and the El Paso Zoo have teamed up to promote healthy eating and active living for all El Pasoans.
Be physically active at the zoo by walking through the 35 acres of animal exhibits and learning about animal and human health. Touch your toes with the giraffes and do jumping jacks to get strong muscles like the Przewalski’s horses. In warm weather, play in the Hunt Family Desert Spring.
Visit the Passport Café at the Zoo and choose from a variety of healthy options from the menu. Quench your thirst with water purchased at a café or from the various water fountains found throughout the zoo.
