The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
The Institute of Internal Auditors, Inc (IIA) was established in 1941 and serves over 108,000 members in internal auditing, governance and internal control, IT audit, education, and security from more than 165 countries and territories. The IIA provides internal audit practitioners, executive management, boards of directors, and audit committees with standards, guidance, and information on best practices in internal auditing.
Association of Local Government Auditors
ALGA was formed in 1989 and has since enjoyed a growing membership. There are more than 300 organizational members and more than 2,000 individual members of ALGA. ALGA's membership represents a wide diversity of local government audit organizations, ranging from one-person audit shops to others with more than 75 professionals.
Association of Airport Internal Auditors
The Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA) was created in the Spring of 1989 to specifically address the unique needs of airport auditors around the world. We all face auditing the same common airport operations: parking systems, airlines, rental cars, and other concessions.
