Senior Deputy City Manager

Tracey Jerome

Tracey Jerome is the Senior Deputy City Manager for the City of El Paso. She oversees the Economic and International Development, International Bridges, Strategic Initiatives, and Communications Departments.

Mrs. Jerome joined the City of El Paso in 2015, as Director of the Museums and Cultural Affairs Department (MCAD). During her leadership tenure at MCAD, Mrs. Jerome also served as Interim Director of the El Paso Museum of Art, then as Interim Director of the El Paso Museum of History. She was appointed as Managing Director of Museums and Cultural Affairs, Libraries and Tourism, and then appointed as Deputy City Manager. In 2022, Mrs. Jerome was appointed to her current position as Senior Deputy City Manager.

Prior to joining the City of El Paso, Mrs. Jerome lived globally in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, working in both the public and private sectors. She is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, with an unwavering commitment to delivering excellence and results for the community.

Mrs. Jerome holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from The College of William and Mary, a Master of Science Degree in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master of Arts degree in the History of Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. Mrs. Jerome relocated to El Paso from London, England with her husband and two sons in 2015.
