The City of El Paso in collaboration with its consultant, WGI Inc., is working on a Downtown Parking Study that will help enhance its parking management strategies in an effort to balance the demand and supply of parking in the downtown area.

The study will address several elements  including conducting a full inventory of all parking spaces in the downtown area both public and privately owned, on- and off-street.

One of the most important goals of this study is to ensure that residents, employees, and visitors have easy and quick access to parking spaces making downtown shopping more attractive and livable.

To achieve this goal the study includes a public outreach component designed to engage the public and key stakeholders such as the Downtown Management District and the Central Business Association.

Outreach efforts include community meetings and an online survey asking downtown residents, employees and visitors to provide their views on parking conditions and accessibility.

SURVEY

The survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/DowntownElPasoParking asks downtown residents, employees and visitors to provide their views on parking conditions and accessibility. It also provides the public with an opportunity to give feedback on customer experience.  Responses must be submitted by February 1, 2019.
