A Neighborhood Action Plan (NAP) is a short-range strategic document that sets forth a comprehensive vision, practical goals and specific actions that will facilitate the preservation and improvement of a neighborhood.
The process provides a framework for neighborhood associations to address neighborhood issues through a step-by-step action plan. The development process also offers residents an opportunity to view neighborhood issues in a larger context by collaborating with decision-makers, service providers and City staff. Neighborhood associations are encouraged to develop their own NAPs. Neighborhood Services staff is available to provide technical assistance in developing the plan and document.
