Transportation Zone Number One


The El Paso City Council conducted a public hearing on December 23, 2008 and approved an ordinance creating the Transportation Zone Number One in El Paso, capturing 2008 as the base year for property valuation and establishing revenue collection to begin in 2010. The purpose of establishing the Transportation Reinvestment Zone Number One is to promote and support transportation projects within the zone.
