The City of El Paso Sustainability Office was established in 2007 to develop, coordinate, and support city-wide sustainability goals and initiatives. This office helps foster a culture of sustainability by providing presentations on how you can lead a more sustainable lifestyle and by connecting you with local businesses and organizations that specialize in sustainable enterprises.

The City of El Paso’s Economic Development & Sustainability Division is excited to announce the implementation of El Paso’s first ridesharing program. The City of El Paso contracted with iCarpool to make it easier than ever for workers and college students all over the city to find rides.

GREEN BUSINESS CHALLENGE

The City of El Paso is hosting a Green Business Challenge to promote and celebrate environmentally-responsible businesses. Through this challenge, businesses are learning how to increase their energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact, all while reducing their bottom-line costs.
