All buses are equipped with a farebox system that collects fares, validates passes and issues transfers. Please remember that you must always insert exact change—fareboxes do not make change. Bills should be placed in the BILL INSERTION SLOT and change and tokens in the COIN/TOKEN INSERTION CUP.
All monthly passes must first be DIPPED into the MAGNETIC FARE CARD SLOT to validate them the first time they are used, then SWIPED through the MAGNETIC STRIPE SWIPE SLOT for the remainder of the 31 days.
All transfers must be DIPPED into the MAGNETIC FARE CARD SLOT.
