Downtown Transfer Center

The new Downtown Transfer Center will provide Sun Metro customers with the following amenities:

• an enclosed waiting area
• real time information displays
• restroom facilities
• drinking fountains
• a Sun Metro store front
• ticket kiosks
• restaurant area
• vending machines and Free Wi-Fi

The collaboration among different entities such as Federal Transit Administration (FTA), City of El Paso and Sun Metro made
this project achievable. The total budget for the new Downtown Transfer Terminal (including previously acquired land) is $8,000,000.
