Sun Metro is pleased to announce the extension of Route 17 to the new Outlet Shoppes at El Paso effective Sunday, January, 27, 2008. Sun Metro will provide Sun City residents and area shoppers with an additional transportation option to the mall on both our Fixed Route and LIFT services. Sun Metro will add an additional bus to Route 17 on the weekends, in an effort to accommodate to high ridership demand while providing shoppers with the convenience of bus service every 35 minutes. Sun Metro has worked in cooperation with Outlet Shoppes General Manager, John Benton, to ensure customers a safe and convenient drop off location (Old Navy Store Building Area) and aims to alleviate increasing traffic flow as a result of the service extension.
