2004 Bond Capital Improvements Status
List of Streets to be Resurfaced
There are now four (4) projects completed. These are: Channel #1 Fence, Marshall Bridge, Eastside Senior Kitchen and Public Safety Communications.
There are ten (10) projects under construction: The Pollard Street Pedestrian Way (complete in May), Billy the Kid Street & Drainage (complete in mid-April), Northpark Drainage Channel (complete in December), Fire Station #18 Remodeling (complete in mid-June), Leo Cancellare Pool (complete end of May), Pavo Real & Nations Tobin Center Roof Replacements (complete end of May), Galatzan Rec Center Air Conditioning (complete early-September), Pasodale & Yale Intersection, (complete mid-June) and Shawver Pool (complete early August).
City Council has approved the resurfacing lists for streets in Districts 2, 7 & 8 as well as citywide. The resurfacing will begin very soon since the City has a contractor already in place to perform this work. The list of streets to be resurfaced can be found on this website.
Additionally, there are seven (7) projects having bids opened in March and ten (10) more to be opened in April.
