What is Safe Communities?
The Safe Communities Program is a program designed to collect and
analyze data, and use the data to determine the locations for increased
enforcement, provide increased community education and public awareness,
and work with community leaders to reduce motor vehicle crashes and
traffic incidents in El Paso.
Reduce traffic issues at the schools
Safe Communities currently offers the following programs:

end of each class the Technicians will ensure that the participants
have installed their safety seats correctly. Participants may also
qualify for a free safety seat.

and teach both parents and students the laws in regards to pedestrian
and school zones.

are offered to various Senior Center, Senior Housing, and Bingo
Halls.

incidents involving alcohol in an effort to curb the amount of DWI’s
on our streets.
- Law Enforcement working with Liquor Establishments- Officers offer
