Welcome to the Pebble Hills Regional Command. When it was opened
in 1994, the Pebble Hills Regional Command was the El Paso Police Department’s
first visible step toward community policing.
The Pebble Hills Regional Command, voted the Regional Command of the
Year for 2000 by the Police Department’s executive staff, serves a
58 square mile area and a population estimated at 200,000 people. The region
includes the area east of Robert E. Lee Street to the eastern city limits
and north of Interstate 10. The Pebble Hills Regional Command’s staff
is comprised of; 205 sworn officers, 9 civilian employees, and 10 volunteers.
Sworn officers are assigned in the patrol, traffic, detective, juvenile investigation,
community services, and school resource officer sections.
The officers and staff of the Pebble Hills Regional Command continue
to take a leadership role for the implementation of community policing initiatives.
Such community policing projects have been successfully established, to include,
the Citizen’s Advisory Board, the City’s first College Advisory
Board, Safety Town, National Night Out, Pebble Hills own Annual Safety Fair,
Pride Day and Neighborhood Watch with the city’s largest number of
participating groups, just to mention a few.
The Pebble Hills Regional Command is located at 10780 Pebble Hills
and provides a convenient location for citizens to pay traffic citations
or set court dates, obtain copies of police reports, or to hold community
meetings. You are invited to visit the Pebble Hills Regional Command.
