The El Paso Police Department Fax Force program is a fax newsletter
that is published weekly by each regional command,
except Westside.
Fax Force recipients receive a newsletter on their fax machines every
Thursday. The publication discusses various crime trends within the
region, offers safety tips for the public to protect themselves against
crime and notifies recipients of important upcoming events. Hundreds
of businesses and individuals in El Paso are members of the Fax Force.
The Fax Force is free of charge.
After evaluating the needs of the region's citizens, Westside began utilizing
an on-line newsletter with additional "newsflash" postings to quickly post news
items of interest to Westside's citizens. Pebble Hills and Central
Regional Command also have on-line newsletters.
