The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) handles most major criminal
investigations. CID consists of five sections;
- Crimes Against Persons
Homicide, Aggravated Robbery, Sexual Assaults, Kidnappings
- Crimes Against Children
Child Abuse, Community Action Team (CAT), Youth Initiative Program
(YIP), Spotlight, SHOCAP, Underage Drinking Prevention Grant, Registered
Sexual Offenders Unit
- DSRT/FFJ
Drive-By Shooting Response Team, Gang Unit, Fugitives Unit
- Financial Crimes
White Collar, Public Integrity,
Cyber Crime Unit
With the exception of the Crimes Against Children Unit, all sections
are located at Police Headquarters.
