Girl in PoolThe Gus and The Gus and Goldie Swim program classes are designed in progressive levels organized as corrals. New skills are introduced and previously learned skills are reviewed. At each step more endurance and stroke ability is expected. The pre-requisites for each class are successful completion of the preceding class or instructor approval. Report cards are presented to each participant at the end of the session marking the skills they mastered and their progression in the classes or corrals. A variety of teaching methods are used including dancing, playing games, individual and group practice, and experience with swimming aids such as kick boards and diving rings.
