The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department will host the 35th year of the El Paso Senior Games in spring 2017. The Senior Games annually have over 350 seniors participating.

The Senior Games are open to any individual 50 years of age and or older with the events beginning in March and lasting through May 2017.

Registrations forms and a full schedule of events will be available after January 2017 at any of the 10 Parks and Recreation Senior Centers.  Competition will include a variety of fitness and sporting events from the City of El Paso and the borderland region. Kickoff event and announcement of the Hall of Fame athletes for 2017 will take place on February 18, 2017 at Polly Harris Senior Center outdoor area. At this time the Senior Game’s running of the Torch will be done by participants from City Senior Centers.

The Senior Games Banquet will be hosted by the Department at the conclusion of the Games to honor the outstanding athletes along with the 2017 induction ceremony for the Senior Games Hall of Fame. The banquet is nominally priced and is open to the public with specific date and time to be announced at a later date.

Fees for the Seniors Games are as follows:

3 Individual Events $15
3.00 for each individual additional event
Team Sports $45 (Basketball, 5 players roster)
Team Sports $45 (Volleyball, 8 players roster)
Senior Games T-shirt $10 (additional T-shirts)
