TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF EL PASO (COUNTY), THE CITY OF EL PASO (CITY), AND THE CITY OF SOCORRO (SOCORRO) TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE - 2009 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG), IN THE AMOUNT OF $339,105. THE FUNDS RECEIVED UNDER THE JAG PROGRAM WILL BE ALLOCATED 48.26% TO THE COUNTY, 48.26% TO THE CITY, AND 3.48% TO SOCORRO; CITY PORTION IS $163,656.
