| RETIRED AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM ADVISORY COUNCIL - RSVP |
| Duties: The RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) Advisory Council was formed in 1975. The 19-member council promotes community support, conducts an annual evaluation, and organizes fund raisers. |
| Qualifications: At least five of the members shall be persons aged 55 or over. Members should be representative of a cross-section of the community: community and business leaders, representatives of non-profit corporations and public agencies. Project staff may not be members or officers of the Advisory Council. |
| Seats: 19 Members: (1 per District, 1 from the Mayor, 1 Mayor Designee, 1 City Representative recommended by the Advisory Council and approved by City Council, 8 RSVP volunteers selected by Advisory Council as at large Members). See RSVP Program Handbook 4700, and Ordinance 11469. |
| Term: Two, 2 year terms. |
