| ART MUSEUM ADVISORY BOARD |
| Duties: The Art Museum Advisory Board was established by Ordinance 10927, March 3, 1992. Composed of 19 members in order to assist the City Council. This board shall from time to time make such general studies of existing museum facilities and operations; shall make recommendations to the Mayor and Council on the relocation of the museum or the renovation and expansion of the exisiting facilities; on the museum's operating budget; shall make recommendations to City Council on policies regarding collection management; on the care and use of the physical plant, including security of the building(s), collections, or visitors. Shall assist the El Paso Museum of Art in developing and supporting its operations, facilities and collections. |
| Qualifications: Each member shall be appointed based upon their professional competence and experience in the arts and may include concerned members of the public. |
| Seats: 19 Members: (2 per District; 3 from Mayor) See Ordinances: 10927, 11469, 11518, 12656 and 16764. |
| Term: Two, 2 year terms. |
