| HISTORY MUSEUM ADVISORY BOARD |
| Duties: The History Museum Advisory Board was established by Ordinance 9722, as amended by Ordinance 11532. The Advisory Board is charged with the following responsibilities to the Mayor and Council: making general studies of facilities and operations, and reporting on such studies with recommendations by the Board; recommendations on relocation or renovation and expansion of existing facilities; recommendations on the Museum’s operating budget; drafting and presenting a five year plan aimed toward achieving AAM accreditation for the Museum and staff; and advising on exhibits and public programs. |
| Qualifications: All members must be residents of the City of El Paso. |
| Seats: 9 Members: (1 per District; 1 from Mayor). See Ordinances: 9722, 11532 and 16764. |
| Term: Two, 2 year terms. Each member shall serve until his successor is appointed. |
