It was great seeing so many of you at the Summit. The 2005 EL PASO REGIONAL ECONOMIC SUMMIT ended with a promise that I will energetically pursue. I have created THE EL PASO LYCEUM that will consist of the following cabinets: Manufacturing, Medical, Military, Next Generation Economy, Tourism and Transportation. These cabinets will meet monthly and the minutes to these meetings will be published in the monthly newsletter that you can find at my website (www.elpasotexas.gov/mayor). In addition, the top three officers of each cabinet will comprise the Economic Development Cabinet that I will meet with on a monthly basis to ensure, that among many other things, there is communication between the cabinets. Enclosed in this post analysis packet are the Summit mini-seminar summaries for your perusal.
