Interlibrary Loan is a service provided to the patrons of
the El Paso Public Library to obtain materials
not owned by or available
from the El Paso Public Library System. |
Anyone who has a valid El Paso
Public Library card with fines totaling less than $1.00, and
with no overdue items, may request materials through ILL.
ILL requests may be made in person or by phone at any El
Paso Public Library branch. |
You may also download one of the forms
to the right, fill it out,
and drop it off at your neighborhood library the next time
you visit. You may also mail the form to ILL at:

Limits
Patrons may have up to ten (10) active requests at any time.
An active request is a request that has been sent to the
ILL office and is in the process of being ordered, or a
request that has been received and is either in the
patron’s possession or awaiting pickup. |

Once
an item has been returned to the ILL office, it is no longer
considered an active request.
If you are unsure how many active requests you currently
have, please feel free to call the ILL office. |

Rules |
| Rule 1 |
Materials published within the
last twelve (12) months will not be ordered. |
| Rule 2 |
Requested items must be
available from a library in the Unites States only. We do
not borrow or lend internationally. |
| Rule 3 |
Patrons are responsible for
returning the borrowed materials by the due date
listed on the front strap. |
| Rule 4 |
Patrons are financially
responsible for materials that are lost, damaged, or not
returned. |
