LIBRARY BOARD NEEDS MEMBERS
The El Paso Public Library Association is an advisory board
dedicated to supporting the mission of El Paso Public Library, “to
serve our diverse community through full access to information,
entertainment, and lifelong learning.”
The Association meets on the second Monday of every month to review
the Library’s goals and to plan future functions such as fundraising
efforts and programs. There are currently vacancies in the following
districts: District 2, Rep. Byrd; District 3, Rep. (currently
vacant); District
4, Rep. Castro; District 5, Rep. Rachel Quintana, District 6, Rep.
Holguin, District 7, Rep. Steve Ortega, and District 8, Rep. Beto
O’Rourke.
The Library Board is open to all community members and if you are
interested in becoming a Library Board member, submit a letter of
interest and resume to the El Paso Public Library Association at 501
N. Oregon, El Paso, TX 79901 or fax to (915) 543-5410.
