Parking Options for Visiting
the Main (Downtown) Library and
Museum of History at Cleveland
Square |

On Sunday,
April 27, 2008 Sun Metro will relocate the
Temporary Downtown Boarding Locations to the
area immediately surrounding Cleveland
Square. Please note, Sun Metro will relocate
several boarding locations to Missouri Ave.,
Franklin Ave., and Oregon St. for an
estimated 8 months or until construction on
the proposed Union Plaza Transit Terminal is
completed. This move will temporarily affect
public metered parking around Cleveland
Square which is normally used by patrons of
the Main Library and Museum of History.

There
are many parking options however: |

There
are 131 metered parking spaces
within a block of Cleveland Square.
|
|
|
Most
meters are good for two hours at
$.25 a half hour. |
|
|
There is
a Diversified Parking lot across
from the Library on Franklin Ave.
that offers 100 spaces for $1.50 a
half hour or $3.00 all day.

|
|
Next to
the Diversified Lot is a parking
garage with all day rates $3.00 and
half hour rates $1.25. |
|
|
Free
parking is available on the street
after 6:00 pm and all day on Sundays
and at City Hall evenings and
weekends. |
|
|
Dedicated parking for the disabled
is available on the south side of
Franklin Ave. (Note: the disabled
can park wherever there is an
available meter and are exempt from
any fees or penalties.) |
