One Day
One day
about one year ago
there was a lot
of sparkling
stars.
They were shining
like lights
blinking on
and off
I will celebrate it
by going
in the day
and camping out
that night
One more thing--
I will call it
Particular Day!

I Still Love You
I started to know you...
I believed in you...
I trusted you...
Now, where are you?
You touched my lide...
(I know somehow) I touched yours, too.
What ever happened to me and you>
I started to like you,
but I was afraid to love you.
And when I did love you
I lost you.
Where shall I go?
What can I do?
All that I know is that
I still love you.

Drugs
Drugs are like hell in jail without a place to breathe.
Drugs are like a pass to death and no pass to faith.
Drugs may be liked by vicious kids who have reasons to use
them.
Drugs are like toxins that destroy your life.
You might be cured, but your reputation has already turned its
back
on you.
Recovery is just a place somewhere between life and death.
Drugs have no damage control.

Mouse
There once was a mouse that was pink.
He fell in a bottle of ink.
The ink was blue
and he crawled in my shoe.
And painted my toenails blue.

My Love For You
My love for you
Is like the sky,
With dreams that soar
And hopes that fly.
It's like a
Never ending ocean.
An everlasting,
Deep emotion.
It has the tenderness
of spring,
The charm that warmth
And laughter bring.
I has the simple
Strength of stone.
It shields us from
A life alone.
It's ever growing,
Ever new.
It's always there,
My love for you.

Mother
You brought me into this world
Thinking I would never grow,
I no longer need someone
To wipe my tears when I fall,
I have stopped being your little girl,
I still love you,
You are the best mom in the world,
You have always been there for me
Everyday of my life,
You are the best.
You are my best friends.

As the Leaves Fall
As the leaves fall, another child is born.
As the leaves fall, another homeless has found a home.
As the leaves fall, someone else dies.
As the leaves fall, another hungry child is fed.
As the leaves fall, another criminal is brought to justice.
As the leaves fall, another child is given a chance.

Little Tommy Tuttle Tut
Little Tommy Tuttle Tut
Worked in a tiny Pizza Hut
He scraped and scrubbed and washed the pans,
Even though it hurt his hands.
While he worked, he cried all day,
Wondering why he worked this way.
One day the big ol' boss came in
(I'm sure you wouldn't agree he's thin.)
He looked at Tommy Tuttle Tut
and said, "My boy, my boy, you're in a rut.
I shall promote you to your face.
I'll grant you manager of this place!"
"Me the manager of Pizza Hut?"
asked Little Tommy Tuttle Tut.
Said the manager, "That's right boy!"
Tom was happy and jumped for joy.
If Tommy wouldn't have jumped so much,
He wouldn't have caused a scene as such.
For after the manager saw this sight,
He jumped far back in quite a fright.
And this is what the thought transpired--
Poor Tommy Tut had to be fired.

Cloudy Days
Way up high in the morning sky
Far above my head,
Float beautiful cotton clouds
Block the sun instead.
Resulting scattered sunshine
The desperate rays peek through,
Providing little warmth
Cant melt mid-morning dew.
Daytime settles into evening
Clouds darken even more,
Raindrops splatter upon the Earth
Lightning, hear thunder roar.

Joyful
Joyful looks like Christmas.
Joyful feels like a smooth chocolate candy bar.
Joyful tastes like pizza with extra cheese.
Joyful smells like chicken noodle soup
Joyful makes me feel like I won the Lotto

Still I Rise
You may write me down in history
with your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in very dirt
But still I Rise.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I Rise.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I Rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave
I am the dream and hope of a slave.
I Rise
I Rise
I Rise

The Ocean
Have you ever seen the ocean view.
There are not many sites like this, just a few.
The water so calm, the sun so bright,
It seems that God is using all his might.
The ocean water is peaceful too,
All that's missing is me and you.
The waves come up and then they crash,
All this is done in a flash.
The ocean bottom is so deep,
I've only seen it in my sleep.
The strands of seaweed on the floor,
Schools of fish galore.
The trenches so deep, the oceanic ridge so high,
If it were on land it would pass the sky.
As secret nodules are on the floor,
It's just a clue of what's in store.
It looks like there is past trashed.
Or maybe parts of a ship that crashed.
The abyssal plains are so long,
The ocean currents are so strong.
I love the Red Sea, North Sea, and Bering Strait,
The non-biodegradable trash I dearly hate.
The Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and Arctic Oceans are alive.
It's like we're the bees and it is the hive.

Farewell
The time has come
To say good-bye.
All the memories we have,
Are all put behind.
It's hard to leave
But we must see,
What the world has planned
For us to be.
I don't know why,
It's just the way it goes.
Life is hard but ehy
Must it be good-bye.
All the things we've done,
All we've heard,
All we've seen,
Must concern.
Life is hard,
But we must go.

I've Been There
I wish not that pain come upon you,
Nor death to your face so soon
But I'll warn you my child I am coming back,
Either morning, night, or noon.
I've given you chance upon chances,
You neglect me; from mercy you turn.
My books have been laid out before you,
Don't blame me you don't want to learn.
You've treated me wrong for a long time.
But my love I've continued to show.
The more and more I'd be kind to you,
The more your hatred would grow.
But when trials and tests come upon you,
Your life will be sinking in sea.
When your friends and family reject you,
Your only good help will be me.
Your pride will be keeping you silent,
And your face will be hiding in shame.
Voice will be saying, "I've got all control."
But your heart will be calling my name.
Just throw away feelings of proudness.
Confess and repent of those sins.
Come home my dear child, I will welcome you home,
Then I'll place my great spirit within.
For on the cross I did hand for hours,
Arose in three days with all of the power.
I know how life feels, I've climbed every hill,
Just trust me my child, I've Been There.

Beauty, Beauty
Beauty, Beauty,
Where do you lay?
Deep in the forest?
Upon the break of day?
In the month of May?
Oh beauty please do tell,
Oh where, Oh where do you lay?
Beauty, I search for you every day.
Please do tell,
Where do you lay?
I've searched for you high,
I've searched for you low,
I've searched for you near,
I've searched for you far,
Beauty, beauty where do you lay?

Little Brother
I hate my little brother
he's such a little brat
He's always playing funny jokes
like putting bubble gum in my hat!
I remember just last spring
when he put a spider in my shoe
It bit me on my little toe
and on my fat one, too!
Or what about last winter
when he put a snowball down my back
or when he tied my baby mouse
to his railroad track!
I hate my little brother
he's...Oh, a candy for me?
He's so sweet

A Forgotten Bridge
Memories of friends,
who you could share your dreams with,
memories of happiness,
seem far away.
Closed in by people,
who's cheerful laughs are just a myth,
struggling to be accepted,
to be noticed in any way.
A sweet voice calls your name,
and a hand reaches through the crowd,
a familiar face appears,
a friend.
You take the gentle hand,
pulling you through these strangers,
hateful and loud,
pulling you across a forgotten bridge,
just beginning to mend.
At first the bridge is unfamiliar,
but as you cross it's moss covered wood,
you start to remember a time,
when you were understood.
And as you reach the other side,
you step onto grass, sparkling with dew,
and see many friends have come to your arrival,
some of them old and most of them new.

Hysterical Halloween
On gloomy Halloweens there are costumes that are bright
Some are white
Others will not give a single fright
Trick-or-treaters get candy from neighbors
Some are indoors
The candy is all yours
Black cats are the creepy kind
Sometimes the make you want to be blind
You will want to leave the m behind
Children go all around
Sometimes you might see a queen that is crowned
Other times you might see a fox and a hound
Last year a big costume party had one very scary decoration
One girl went like an Asian
Another wore a carnation

La
Amistad
Es una niño con su amiga,
son tan felices juntos,
tienen una amistad
tan clara como el agua.
Juntos pasan las horas
tristes o conentos,
solos o acompañados,
pero nunca separados.
Entre ellos no hay secretos,
y el día que los haya
ya no estará uno de ellos.
Siempre se protegen uno al otro,
juntos han tenido experiencias inolvidables,
Son dos amigos
que mantienen en alto la amistad.

Loyal Heart
Look not for the beauty
nor whiteness of their face,
but look for the heart
tha is loyal within.

will never grow old.
