Stay Drug Free!!!
Don’t use tobacco
like my sister.
When I come home
and she is smoking
I say naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty.
Don’t use tobacco
Don’t be a fool
It will rot your lungs.
She is going to a grave.
We can help by not smoking
Come on kids
Let’s save our earth!
Can you?
Yes, yes, yes
Don’t be people who allow drugs to rot
This town!

Tobacco
Things are just great
Without tobacco
Because I have an uncle
Named Bacco
One day he smoked
And I got mad
And thought it was bad
So it’s better
To have a head
Instead to be dead
But if you
Have an uncle
Tell him
Not to be a fool
But
To stay cool

Cristobal Colón
Lejano nació
En un pueblecito
Que nunca se vió
Nació en un pesebre
y un dia creció
Después de marcharse
Un lugar descubrió
En el estado de América
Un lindo estado que
Todos adoramos
Con mucho amor

A Very Good Friend
What makes beauty?
What makes sound?
Will these things happen,
When a good friend’s around.
What makes the earth spin
What makes a rainbow bend?
Of course, because of a very good friend.

Christopher
Christopher, Christopher
Where are you?
Is your new land
As clean and free
As ours used to be?
Are your rivers clean
Like we haven’t seen?
Are your cities pretty
Or are they very dirty?
Is your sky clean and blue
or doesn’t it look good?
Christopher, Christopher
Do you have the solution
to our land pollution?

I Am a Native
I am a native
I saw Balboa coming this way
He wanted our gold
We gave him a little,
But he still wanted more.
If we don’t give him more,
he will kill the natives.

A World in a World
I know a world way up high,
Beneath the trees and above the sky.
It controls your mind,
Your heart,
Your soul.
It controls kind,
But no one foretold...
That this world wouldn’t be
Like the morning star
Shining above.
Sweeter than a dove,
Stronger than love.
But not better than the heavens
Of heavens above.
Because it’s not
Simply what you’ve got,
For Behold!
It’s something new, not old.
Something warm in your heart, not cold.
It’s in your core...
LIFE
What more could you ask for?
There’s lots,
But take what you got.

If I Were an Eagle
If I were an eagle I would fly around the world,
I would fly peaceful like a dove.
No matter if I die as a bird.
I will still be in the sky flying,
Looking at the dove go by.

When Sailing in a Rainy Night
When sailing in a rainy night
Across the ocean sea
What would I find tonight
And what would I see
Sailing through the ocean blue
Without my only crew
What would I find today and what will I do
Oh if I only knew
While in the morning when
The sky is turning blue
I woke up and saw all the birds
That flew
When I arose with my old and tired
Hand beyond the morning sun
I could see a beautiful piece of land...

Señor Chocolate
Había una vez un señor chocolate
Y el corazón le late.
Su carro era de nieve
Y al subirse siempre llueve.
El señor chocolate fue al edificio
Donde el hace su oficio.
El señor chocolate tenía nariz de cacahuate.
En el patio de su castillo
Tenía un árbol de membrillo.

The World is Weird
The world is weird, it’s like a beard
upon an old man’s face.
All tangled up just like a cup of stars
floating around in space.
The world’s a blur like balls of fur
upon a small white poodle.
His name is Seth and on his breath
is the smell of chicken noodle.
The world is strange and all deranged
cars and trucks everywhere.
You see old pop at the mechanic’s shop
and the next day you are there.
The world is weird.

Three Proud Ships Sailing
Three proud ships sailing the blue,
passed great islands and other lands too.
With large masses and a very large crew,
they wailed with hope and courage, too.
Oh! say Columbus, have you ever sailed the blue?
Yes, and I know you will too,
if you believe that there are other worlds beyond the blue,
I sailed and sailed and it finally came true,
We finally landed, the happiness was true!
Not knowing I had discovered a New World,
behind all that blue.

The Fight
Once there was a boy
his name was Ben.
He was a good boy
then came sin.
Sin made him do terrible things
like pushing, shoving
and worse cussing.
And then came more.
Like robbing other people
and making them cry.
Well, one day came a good old man.
He was a Good Spirit
with a powerful force in hand.
He said, “All the things you’re doing
God does not condone.”
Then that Bad Spirit left in a flash
and left him alone.
The kid went back the way he was
and he’s happy in all that he does.

One Elf on a Toadstool
One elf on a toadstool
so bright and green.
Today he was a stimulating scene!
He saw a monster
with a million eyes
that scared him out
of his wits by surprise.
A witch with a cat
as black as night,
gave him a terrible,
terrible fright!
He was a dragon
with eyes of red,
and this is
what he said.
“Would you like
to come over to tea?”
Don’t believe all this nonsense.
I only got it
from an elf on a toadstool.
So don’t believe me.

1492
Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492
Aboard the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria,
Three ships of great power and might.
But how very long ago it was,
500 years to be exact.
On October 12th we celebrate this discovery
That has brought so much pride to you and me.
Even though we do no know what bravery
It took to be the man
Who dared to think differently
About the geography
Some said, “flat”,
But Columbus said, “round”
But he was right
And America was found.

And said this must be

America
The oceans are beautiful
Sailing on the seas,
Columbus and his men
Were praying on their knees.
They were asking God
To find a new land,
While the men were sleeping
They felt a crash
Looked out and saw sand.
They were looking through the forest
And what did they see,
They saw two Indians
Hiding in the tree.
Because of Columbus and the Indians
We are free

Dancing
Fancy footwork, that’s what they say
As you practice and practice all day
Dance to the beat that’s what you are told
You dance like a butterfly of gold.
Soon opening night will come
As your feet and arms are numb
Gracefully you dance across the stage
In a beautiful costume of beige
So practice, practice, practice,
And one day you might just be on
The stage.
