AUTOMATIC VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM GUIDELINES
The Automatic Vehicle Identification Program or AVI Program is a
system available at the Zaragoza and Stanton Street Bridges through
which patrons may open an account, and Tolls are deducted automatically
from this account when the patron crosses the bridge. Patrons opening
an account will be issued a barcode which they may use in our unmanned
lane at the Zaragoza Bridge or at any of the other lanes at Zaragoza
or Stanton Street Bridges.
- Currently Automatic Vehicle Identification labels may be purchased
only at the Toll Plaza Office, located adjacent to the toll booths
at the Zaragoza Toll Bridge. In the near future, AVI's will also
be available at the Stanton Street Bridge.
- The A.V.I. labels may be purchased using cash, check or Credit Card (We accept Discover, Master Card and Visa, with a 1.36% service charge added) After the initial account opening payment in the form of check may be sent by mail.
- Vehicles using an A.V.I. label may use any Southbound lane at the Stanton or Zaragoza Bridges.
- Any check returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a
$35.00 service charge.
- The minimum amount of credit placed on an A.V.I. label to open
an account will be $50.00 for a passenger vehicle and $100.00 for
a commercial vehicle.
- Patrons may call at any time to find out the balance of their account, this information is also displayed on the fare display as you use your barcode. Customers may also check their balances through the EPTOLL Website https://www.eptoll.elpasotexas.gov/elpaso/index.aspx
