Foreign-Trade Zone Operations Training
Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) No. 68 offers two FTZ Operations Training seminar to its FTZ Users and custom broker representatives. This training program is the only one offered in the entire El Paso region for companies using a foreign-trade zone. The FTZ Operations Training program is designed:
- To increase the participant’s knowledge of the FTZ and Customs regulations and procedures that are utilized in a FTZ operation, and
- Lessen mistakes in FTZ operations thereby reducing the possibility of a fine or penalty.
The seminars covers all subjects necessary to have a basic understanding of operating a Foreign-Trade Zone, such as benefits of FTZ, Customs documents in a FTZ environment, inventory control, record keeping requirements, government reporting, export reporting, and security control. A certificate of completion is provided only to those who complete both seminars, sixteen (16) hours of attendance.

Cost: $30 per person/ per seminar
Checks or money orders can be made out to “City of El Paso” and mailed to the FTZ office.
Lunch WILL NOT be provided.
