Fire Station No.35:

Fire Station 35 is currently under construction and due to open around September 1st, 2006. This station is located on the far east side of the city near Interstate 10 and Rojas Drive. It will serve a heavy commercial and industrial section as well as the residential area. Additionally, it will help to meet the needs of any future developments in the area.

The station will house an engine company and a battalion chief unit when completed. The design is unique and very different from the other fire stations in El Paso. It will contain a lot of windows, three drive through bays, the fire emblem in the floor, and other features. The station is 8400 square feet.
