Opened 1967. Fire Station 23 houses B5, P23, and RP23. B5 is a 2002 Ford F350. P23 is a 1994 Pierce. RP23 is a 1987 E-One. This fire station has three bays. Station 23 is in the process of removing the grass and installing rock landscape. There is no medic unit assigned here at this time, however we do stock supplies for medic units in this area. This year we submitted requests for station additions to provide for future needs. P23 averages approximately 200 runs per month. B5 averages approximately 30 runs per month. The majority of P23's response area is residential, with some manufacturing and some retail. We respond to Cohen Stadium, a portion of the Patriot Freeway, and we back up P21 to Trans Mountain Road.
