The station has been recently had more stucco applied and has been repainted. It received desert landscaping in 2004.

Pumper 13 is a 1999 Pierce Dash 1500 GPM engine company. Engine carries 800 feet of 1.75 inch hose, 200 feet of 2.5 inch hose, 1500 feet of 5 inch hose for supply, first aid kit, oxygen equipment, and automated external defibrillator, a TNT Rescue tool, and a thermal imager.

Pumper 13 responds to residences, educational, and commercial occupancies that sit in its first run district. It also responds into the Butterfield Industrial complex, the El Paso International Airport, Western Refinery, and Phelps Dodge Refinery.
