FIRE

Medical Division The Medical Division is part of Operations. The El Paso Fire Department and the Department of Emergency Medical Services were merged in the year 2000. Prior to the merger, Fire Department personnel operated as First Responders and were trained to the level of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) -Basic or Emergency Care Attendant (prior to September 1985).
