For customers under the ADA/Waiver program, recyclables will be emptied the 2nd and 4th calendar week.

Co-mingle recyclable items
Must maintain at least 3 feet between the gray and blue container.
Only recyclable items should be deposited in the blue container.
*Note: Recycling service is tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2008.
Acceptable Items:

Paper: corrugated cardboard, brown paper bags, newspapers with inserts, magazines, junk mail, white bond paper, colored bond paper and computer paper.

Plastic: Clear #1 plastic (soda pop and small clear water bottle containers; Colored #2 plastic containers (empty dish soap bottles, shampoo bottles and margarine tubs)
Clear or opaque non-colored #2 plastic containers (milk jugs)
To determine what kind of number is the plastic look for the symbols at the bottom of each container.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Residential waste, bulk waste, yardwaste, furniture and appliances, eight (8) automobile tires.
NOT ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Dirt, rocks, concrete or construction materials, no appliances w/Freon. No commercial, industrial or agricultural waste.
