The Design Management division strives to provide high quality and valued engineering and architectural design practices. To effectively serve this function the Division consists of two sections, Program Management and Contract Compliance assuring management services for all City of El Paso owned facilities, infrastructure, property, and right of way.

Program Management
The primary objective of the Program Management section is to manage, administer, and coordinate all capital improvement design projects with designers, City staff, and the public. The goal of this section is to provide construction documents that enhance and improve the quality of life in El Paso.

Contract Compliance
The Contract Compliance section is responsible for administering all design and construction contracts for City of El Paso Capital Improvement Projects. The goal of this section is to enforce contract wage rates and assure that contractor employees are paid in compliance with contract requirements while contract schedules are met in a timely and responsive manner.
