Pick up your travel bags and see a Zoo tiger!

The El Paso Zoo is proud to announce highly visible new advertising in the baggage claim area of the El Paso International Airport.
Residents and visitors to the Sun City will have a tiger watching them (from new Duratrans) as they pick up their luggage from the baggage claim area at the El Paso Intl. Airport. The Duratrans are backlit lightboxes - pictures printed on plastic and then backlit to form a sort of photographic slide. There are two duratrans, one showing a child looking through the Zoo's "Windows to the Wild" to see the tiger staring back at him and the other design shows shots of kids playing at the window of the "World of the Sea Lion" exhibit.
The zoo design team of Paul DuMond and Liz Kern came up with the images that will now entice travelers to make the El Paso Zoo one of their prime stops while in the Sun City.
Economic development is an important focus for the city of El Paso. The El Paso Zoo is actively participating in the push to bring more revenue into the Sun City by informing visitors of the wonderful exhibits and experiences at the Southwest Border's largest Zoo - one of the city's Quality of Life departments. The El Paso Zoo receives over 300,000 visitors a year, and will continue to grow as the Western Expansion & Africa come on line over the next 2 years.
*Daily Educational Programs - Watch Sunny & his friends at the Sea Lion Exhibit (10:45am & 2:45pm),
