The Sun City is made up of people who put their life on the line everyday to save, serve and protect the citizens of El Paso. From soldiers to sheriffs, from police officers to fire fighters, whether you are a Customs, ICE or Border Protection agent, the El Paso Zoo wants to salute you for your service with a special day to recognize you for your bravery and efforts.

To show our appreciation, everyone… all zoo visitors (not just Military, Fire & Law personnel) who walk through the El Paso Zoo's gates on July 7th will pay half price admission. And you don't have to be a member of the military, fire or law enforcement fields to attend the day – everyone is welcome to spend Saturday, July 7th at the Zoo as we say thank you to those valuable members of our community.

Inside the El Paso Zoo, you will see different equipment, cars, displays and informative, educational booths from members of the different fields of military, fire fighting and law enforcement.

Plus, kids can experience the wonder and fun at the World of the Sea Lion show at 10:45 & 2:45 and see some of the El Paso Zoo's own resident ocean ambassadors – our male sea lion; Sunny, and the three female sea lions - Sushi, Coco & Cleo.

Join us at the Zoo for this HALF PRICE Day and get the added benefit of walking away with the knowledge of how to protect your family this summer from water dangers.

Every parent wants to protect their child and the Red Cross can help by teaching water safety tips that are very important to know. Immediately after "The World of the Sea Lion" show, parents and children are invited to learn from the experts at the Red Cross - who are donating their time for this important seminar.
