Texas Gas Service honored by United Way at the El Paso Zoo for its Community involvement                                          

The Spirit of Excellence Award through partnership with United Way of El Paso County recognizes exemplary corporate responsibility, philanthropy and employee community involvement. Texas Gas Service has consistently increased giving, and at 99% has demonstrated a higher percentage of employee participation than any other large company.

Texas Gas Service also provides a dollar-for-dollar match of employee contributions, and has helped sponsor United Way Kick-off campaign efforts. As the 2005 Spirit of Excellence recipient, Texas Gas Service recently had a tree planted in their honor at the El Paso Zoo.

Texas Gas Service joins a distinguished list of area companies dedicated to better serving our El Paso area community. Past recipients include: Western Refining, AT&T, UPS, SBC, Wells Fargo, El Paso Electric Company, Diamond Shamrock, and El Paso Natural Gas Company.
