Application for LICENSED child daycare, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, primary, secondary, and special education through grade 12.

Carefully plan your visit, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with co-workers before contacting the Zoo. There are a limited number of reservations permitted, so please schedule your visit early. Group Admission Rate: Limited to Monday through Friday except Designated City Holidays, with confirmation of completed application.

Additional Chaperons must pay General Admission at the gate. All chaperones must be 21 years of age or older (may be asked for valid Driver License).

All other guests will be charged separately at the Zoo our General Admission rates:

  • Conform to City rules.
  • Profanity, vulgar language, obscene gestures, and disruptive, rowdy behavior are not permitted.
  • Kindly limit cell phone use to common areas away from animal exhibits or other guests.
  • Kindly make copies of Group Reservation Policy as necessary to distribute to teachers/chaperones/bus drive.
Group Contact Responsibilities
  • Follow instructions given by El Paso Zoo Security as well as staff to expedite group admission in an orderly fashion. Have separate counts for students and chaperones. Contact is to remain with security to verify entrants and actual count.
  • Children through the age of twelve are required to wear either tags or uniforms. Tags should have the name of the school and a phone number, not the child’s name.
  • School buses arrive and depart from the El Paso Zoo Safety Area. At NO TIME should anyone exit the school bus until directed to do so by El Paso Zoo Security. Bus drivers will be directed to authorized parking area.
  • One chaperone, 21 years of age or older, is required for every 10 students, regardless of student age. Eleven children require two chaperones. The El Paso Zoo requires that teachers and adults remain with and supervise their group during the entire visit.
  • Walk, DO NOT run. Pick up after your group. Quietly enjoy your visit and respect those around you.
  • Smoking, alcohol, drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
  • Use public pathways, do not trample plants or flowers, nor cross barriers.
  • Do not bring glass containers, drinking straws, plastic lids, or balloons into the El Paso Zoo.
  • For the safety of all guests - No sitting, climbing on or hanging on the fences, walls or trees.
  • If you touch "any" animals on zoo grounds, avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth and wash your hands, especially before eating.
  • For the safety of the animals - Do not feed or tease El Paso Zoo animals including wild animals like pigeons and squirrels. Please do not enter restricted areas or hold doors open when entering or leaving the Americas Aviary or Asia Forest Complex. Baby strollers and wagons are discouraged in the Americas Aviary.
  • Do not bring radios, tape or CD players, roller-blades, roller-skates, skateboards, scooters, bicycles and or balls into the El Paso Zoo grounds.
  • Pets are not allowed on El Paso Zoo grounds. If service animals are planned to be part of the group, please let us know in advance.
  • The El Paso Zoo reserves the right to escort disruptive individuals from the Zoo grounds.

Kid’s ages 3-12 Animeals Lunch Special includes Fountain Beverage, Bag of Chips, Cookies and Choice of One for Entire Group: Hot Dog, Chicken Strips, or Mini-Corndog. All served in a Zoovenir Bucket for $6.50 each.
