Redistricting in the City of El Paso is the process of redrawing the City's representative districts. These boundaries are adjusted based on population changes that have occurred over the last decade. Through redistricting, the population within each district is equalized so that residents across the City have equal representation on the City Council. A similar process is done at the county, state and federal levels.
