Customer Service and Business Center The Customer Service and Business Center has three distinct sections: Permitting, Licensure and Ombudsman.
  • Permitting handles all inspection requests, updates contractor information, open records requests, assesses and collects all fees and associated costs of permitting and licenses.
  • Licensing issues all city licenses and renewals.
  • The Ombudsman assists Building Permits in complex projects requiring intensive coordination between the City of El Paso and the project stakeholders.
We accept credit cards for Permits, Licensing and other Fees.

City County Health: 8:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., 1:00 - 4:30 P.M., Closed Wednesdays
Fire Department: 8:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., 1:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.
