    ComSAR - McKelligon Canyon

    Fire Department
    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 3:17 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 22, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to McKelligon Canyon when a climber fell off the side of the mountain and sustained serious injuries. His fellow climber called 9-1-1. The first unit arrived on the scene at 3:27 p.m. and made contact with the fellow hiker. The Combined Search and Rescue team was immediately dispatched to help the injured patient and two minor children who were up the mountain with the patient.
