City Announces All-America City Award Design Contest
This summer, El Paso was named as 2010 All-America City. The All-America City Award, given to ten communities each year by the National Civic League, is considered the “Nobel Prize” of city awards.
The All-America City Award serves as a call to action to the citizens of El Paso to get involved in matters that are important to quality of life and make a positive impact in the community. In an effort to boost community pride and encourage involvement, the City of El Paso announces a design contest to complement the El Paso All-America Award logo. The design will be utilized to create materials, promotional items, and/or merchandise with a unique design to commemorate the award. The design contest is open to all graphic artists, graphic artist teams, professionals, amateurs and students age 18 or over. Deadline to submit design is Monday, August 23, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Additional information, rules and guidelines are available [here] or can be requested via email at AllAmerica@elpasotexas.gov.
