New Traffic Signals at Montana and Tierra Este
The newly installed traffic signals at Montana Avenue and Tierra Este Road are now fully operational.
The new traffic signals at Montana and Tierra Este were had been set to flash mode to acquaint motorists and pedestrians with the equipment. The traffic signals are now on automatic mode, or normal operation.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the newly signalized intersection. The project cost approximately $150,000 and was privately-funded through a donation from Wal-Mart.
Traffic signal projects are designed to improve vehicular and pedestrian traffic operations in El Paso. Several new traffic signals are scheduled for installation in the coming months.
